About the Hospital

Founded in 1980, China Medical University Hospital has for long stuck to the principles of “taking pride in our hospital and viewing the patients and staff as top priorities”. For the past 35 years, we have made a committed effort to improving medical services and exterior environment, hoping to create the best medical institution in Taiwan. Currently the general hospital (in Taichung) and children hospital contain 7 medical buildings, 2,076 beds, and 5,000 medical staff (including 800 doctors, 2,600 nursing staff, 630 medical personnel, and 1,000 aids and staffers). On average, we have more than 190,000 outpatients, 15,000 patients admitted to emergencies, and 7,300 hospitalized patients (4,800 patients receiving surgeries) every month. We are indeed a responsible medical center and fortress of public health in central Taiwan.
